When you buy a Sector 340, you are not buying a watch..... you are buying a Swiss made chronograph. They don't take the responsibility of making one of the world's best timepieces lightly.
The Sector 340 watch uses a precision made Swiss quartz sweep movement. The case is a substantial 44 millimeters and crystal is polished Sapphire for a really hard to scratch surface.
The case back and the crown is a screw down design. That helps make this model water resistant down to 330 feet.
The case is made from stainless steel and 44 millimeters across and almost 14 millimeters thick. Unlike some cheaper watches, the watch band is made from stainless steel too.The band is a little over 18 millimeters wide and complements the over all look of the timepiece quite nicely.
The dial face is black and it contrasts exceptionally well with the stainless steel bezel.
The face includes a easy to read day and date calendar.
The sweep is a smooth .2 (1/5) second and functions include a add time and a split time function too.
This watch works well as a casual and/or dress and/or formal wear. The hands are polished silver tone with luminous accents in the center.The face has white letters, markers and number for easy reading. The date display is analog.
The Sector company is gaining in popularity and they continue to come up with new designs that lead the industry. The company seems to intuitively know what their customers want and continue to deliver and their model 340 watch is another hit.
Although the Sector 340 is not an altimeter watch, it is an incredibly good looking chronograph.
