Thanks guys for the videos and the humor! Sims definitely help build confidence in your ability and it’s less expensive than buying new planes all the time. Great way to learn stunts as well. I own RealFlight 6 and it rocks! The DX5 doesn’t come with it but the transmitter that comes with it is 8 channel. It feels and acts just like a real one.

I want that ICON A5 that is behind you!!!

Nice, but why not have out takes that show the damage. And could you take us beginners on a trip to the hobby store and walk through these repairs?

@Billthesheepdog Directly, simulators (apart from rubbish ones) are only available for windows. BUT… google crossover games and that program will allow you to use it on your mac.

hey i hav the same Laptop but no flight test logo on the cover

It’s really sad when a first timer gets a Super Cub DSM on christmas then, on your first flight you snap the tail assembley right before the screws to the rudder and elevators. Then, three days later your Dad goes…..get a simulator.

Looked a lot like my first flight. I got really lucky on the landing though. I lost sight of the plane because I was up above the runway and a little mound was blocking my view. I glided it in and just had to guess on the flare. When I walked over it was sitting perfectly on the runway unharmed, best landing I ever did with that terrible plane.

you guys should upgrade to g5.5 and play online!

@flitetest lol!

@TheJnasThe Search this… Simulator Flying - FLITE TIP

What about realflight?

i love the design of the icon a5 in the back of you are you gonna put it in water next vid ?

I learned on the Champ, then went to the Super Cub LP, which gave me confidence to fly larger planes, but the Bixler is an excellent 3rd plane.

will this be sold by hk or anything???

super cub is really fragile

@korey1033 Got the icon, the worst of my 15 planes, but it sure looks nice.

@joshuadirect 100m naked ;)

@bobmaxiao It was not that serious, but I’m amazed how he still can’t do a proper close fly by when being surrounded by all these toys for a year(s). Slo’mo running vid is in the making ;)

@Chanucks I meant to say you can not leave website links in the comment sections.

@Chanucks You can leave website links here but just search Aerofly 5 and it is make by a company called Ikarus. You will find their website. They are a German company and their simulators are sold by Ohio Models. Look at the specs to see if you have enough memory, correct hard drive and graphics card. I am guessing the Macbook Air might be to small for the simulator. I know it runs on newer Powerbooks. Nightflyyer on Youtube thinks its the best too. Hope you get to run it.
